The mascots Wenlock and Mandeville, are the spectacular mascots of the 2012 Summer Olympics. Wenlock and Mandeville are animations made from drops of steel. They named Wenlock after Shropshire the stroke of luck city, and Mandeville after Stroke Mandeville a city of the forerunner of the first Paralympic Games.
Two stories have been created about Wenlock and Mandeville: Out Of A Rainbow, the story of how Wenlock and Mandeville came to be there little drops of steel, and Adventures On A Rainbow, which features the children from Out Of A Rainbow meeting Wenlock and Mandeville and trying out Olympic and Paralympic sports.
