How to Carve a Spook-ta-cular Jack-o-Latern by Reporter Carr
Halloween is coming up, so I decided to teach you how to carve a jack-o-lantern. I’m going to tell you how to make the scariest pumpkin on the block. You will love how your jack-o-lantern looks.
First, you need an adult to help you carve the pumpkin. To carve a pumpkin you need a pumpkin, a spoon, and a knife. After you have the pumpkin, cut around the stem, and scoop the insides out.
Second, when all the insides are scooped out, you can draw whatever you want on the outside of the pumpkin. It could be a sad face, a mad face, or a really spooky face.
Lastly, you get your parent to cut out the face that you drew, and place it on the porch so everyone can see it.
That is how you make a really cool pumpkin. If you want to make more really cool pumpkins, do the same steps, but make another really cool design.
