The BN Boutique: Giving Back to the Community
by Reporter Summerfield
Do you know how important it is to give back to your community? No matter how young you are, you can make a difference. Here are two girls who made this happen. It all started when Bianca and Nicole were looking for a craft to do. Nicole knew a really great craft- making pop top bracelets. They gathered the supplies and started to make them. Bianca came up with the idea of making the bracelets and selling them. Nicole said that they should give the money to an orphanage. After several hours of thinking, Nicole had the idea of BN Boutique. The B stands for Bianca and the N stands for Nicole. Bianca agreed and they started selling the bracelets at Mr. Henline’s salon, Charles Scott. The girls made $750 and donated it all to The Blessing House in Lorain. The Blessing House is a place where kids go when their parents need help. The girls did not give The Blessing House the money straight away, they bought toys and clothes for the children staying there.
Would you like to support these kids? Here is a list of BN Boutique’s products. BN Boutique features their signature product- the pop top bracelet! They feature these in many different styles. Some of these styles include: the famous button on top, and the new magnetic bottle cap top.
